Dell 1320C Color Laser Printer - Windows 10 Problems

We have had the above printer for a number of years and it has functioned perfectly. We were using it with an old XP OS that just got replaced, upgrading to a Windows 10 tower. We got the printer installed on W10, so it shows up in Devices and Printers and it's set as the default printer. But whenever we attempt to print anything, whether it be a test page or a Word document, a blinking yellow light goes on at the top of the unit. This printer has a paper slot right above the paper tray. If we feed a blank sheet into that slot and press the Continue button on the top (near the blinking yellow light), the 1320C prints out that 1 sheet correctly. We can't figure out how to get it to take the paper from the tray and print normally. Although we thought it unlikely that a mechanical issue would occur exactly when we swapped towers, we did reconnect the printer back to the old XP computer just as a check.
