Connecting scanner function in macOS Monterey (Apple Silicon)
Hi,
I just got a new MacBook Air M2 and am trying to connect my B2375dfw.
Without any software downloads, I was able to connect the printer through Sys Pref > Printers & Scanners just by using the '+' button.
However, on my old machine on the Printers & Scanners pages, there were two buttons at the top 'Print' and 'Scan' which would allow access to the different functions. Now though, there are no buttons and just the print options are shown.
I've found the 'latest' (dated 2015!) drivers on the Dell website, but don't really want to install all the cruft software for data transfer and faxing etc etc which I know I will never need or use. Just need the scanner.
I installed the MAC_ScanAssistant > Scan Assistant.pkg software, rebooted the machine, deleted and reconnected the printer, but still no joy.
Any suggestions gratefully received... please and thank you!
