Canon printer connection has dropped out

HI there,

Mid printing, my connection to our Canon Printer has dropped out, and I can't restore it - 2 days without it.  The internet connection is good, and the printer says it's "on standby", but won't print the stored printer queue items.  My colleague has no trouble with the printer.  I feel the Dell is not talking to the Canon.

Sounds like your Dell might've lost the printer port or driver mapping. Try removing and re-adding the printer, or run the Windows troubleshooter. I had the same thing happen and that fixed it.

Thank you.  Yes we added the printer again using IP address, and all fixed now.  Thanks for you help :-)
