Cannot Print to AIO 810

Dear Dell Community Support,
I have just purchased a new Dell XPS 8500 computer, when I tried to print to my Dell AIO 810 Printer, I could not print, I then downloaded Driver R146120 and after installation I still cannot print, I get different error messages depending on what I am trying to print e.g.”The document could not be printed”  and “There were no pages selected to print” when I tried to print a .pdf page, and “Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup”, when I tried to print a .doc file.
When I went Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Devices and Printers/Dell AIO 810 and then Adjust print options, I was able to change the paper size etc. but when I clicked the Maintenance tab all the options including Print a Test Page were all greyed out, would any member of the Community be able to assist me in getting my printer problem solved ?
Yours faithfully,
Petbar

Thanks Rick,

You are a Star, the fix that you suggested worked and I can now print.

Thanks and regards,

Petbar,

Make and model of your computer and opertaing system. 32-bit or 64-bit? If Windows 7 was the computer upgraded or did it come with Windows 7?

What virus program and firewall are you using?

Petbar,

  • First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.

    Disconnect the printer.

Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed.
    Manual Printer Driver Removal

Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the

Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).

Links to the patch/drivers can be found at...
