C2665DNF - unable to scan, print or use the printer after upgrading firmware

Hi,  I recently upgraded the firmware on my C2665DNF printer, that was working fine before I did this.  I installed firmware:   Version 201807040649, A08.  I did the install the first time using network, then tried it via USB, to trouble shoot the issues I am now having. 

After the firmware was updated, when I try to print, the printer just says no paper installed, even though there is.  I switch it to print form MPF, after I put pager in the tray, and prompts me to install paper.  I then tried to do a copy operation, same issue. 

I figured the printer is getting old, so I will most likely replace, but needed to scan some documents, and found that I am not able to scan anything, always getting a network error when I try to.  Installed a USB drive, one I have used to scan documents to before with no issues, and now it is telling me that the USB drive is unsupported.  I verified that it has free space and formatted correctly, same error.  I did try another USB drive, same issue.
