C1765nfw weird wifi issue

I have had a lot of trouble getting this printer to work via wifi. I guess that is not unusual.  I am at the point where the printers says it is on the network and the computer sees the printer as online (when I go to print). But, it does not print.  After about a minute or two it just says "error printing."  No code.

The odd thing is that if I reboot the computer it will then print the document as soon as the computer boots up.  Kinda strange.  Obviously I would like to print without rebooting the computer.

Connected via USB it prints fine.
