2335dn and Windows Multipoint Server 2011 Std
I'm attempting to get Dell ScanCenter stoftware setup on my new multipoint server and am not having any luck.
Previously, we had 3 pc's, each with their own 2335dn attached via USB. Now, there's the server computer and a zero-client...but we still have the 3 printers w/usb cables.
For now, I'm just trying to get one connected locally to the server.
I found this, down at the bottom, and tried it; but the installer hangs forever and never completes.
It *did* install ScanCenter, but from the scancenter options I cannot choose a scanner.
Help?

If I use "maintenance mode" from WMS 2011, I can scan. Which, of course, is useless as it defeats the purpose of the Multipoint server.
But that's not Dell's fault; turns out due there's no scanning from an RDP session...it's a Microsoft thing. You can, conveniently, purchase the "remote scanning" software from Dell for $348. *sigh*
