1350CNW Driver not found on Windows 11 PC

I haven't used my 1350CNW printer in some years and am trying to add the device to my Windows 11 laptop. I've got it on the network via WPS and can see it in my Settings devices after adding the printer but get the message "Driver is unavailable". I downloaded the driver and firmware from Dell, extracted the zipped files and it appeared that they automatically did something (brief blip on the screen) but perhaps didn't auto-install. Hoping someone here can guide me through the final steps so I can get this printer working again. Printer's settings page prints nice and sharp.

Exactly the same problem!  And i have not yet found a compatible printer driver that will work.

This is a bit of a pain to do, though this method seems to work.

If you're connected to the printer directly by USB, disconnect it first.

Remove the printer driver from the computer. If you attempted to install the drivers from the dell website, most likely they will have a dell printer in your list of printers. This need to go, open setting and go to Bluetooth devices and remove the printer driver, going direct from start menu to printers won’t work as the remove printer button has been replaced with a driver search button (something similar).  Open CMD prompt as administrator and copy (without quotation marks) 'rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /s /t1' and past into the CMD prompt. Select drivers tab and make sure the printer driver for the dell is not in the list, remove it if it is. Now you can add the printer at the same time, click the add button in the driver’s tab, select a CPU architecture (most likely x64) and click next, then select windows update as the dell printer won’t be listed. After a few minutes an updated list of drivers will be available, select the dell '1350cnw HBP' and add it. Now you need to reconnect the printer if it was via USB, otherwise if networked it you don’t need to (make sure it’s on). Now start menu, printers and search for the printer, add it once it is found. Should be cooking with gas now.

Have fun

Another BIG TICK for @Wombycat my 1350cnw is up and running, no further drivers required. For others, I can confirm you can leave your Printer networked to load the driver, however print off the settings page and grab the printers IP address and when asked to add a printer select the method where you add by a specific IP address. That way you specially target the printer exactly. PS make sure its NOT IPP [the default] but in fact IP address from the drop down box :-)

I was able to find some drivers and utilities that worked but they are in Dutch and not English.  I will try @Wombycat's solution as well.
