1320C PDL emulation, what is emulated?
We have a Dell 1320C or Fuji/Xerox C525a printer at the Framingham Maker Space.
Since Fuji/Xerox has been folded into FujiFilm the old drivers have become unavailable for this printer. To further complicate matters I wish to print from Debian 64 bit. So.......... I'm on my own.
Does anyone know what the PDL emulation(s) is/are on the 1320c? From the help forums, PDF is one I believe. Are there other emulations (PCL, Postscript)? Also are there job meta-data prefix/postfix? Where might I get technical documentation? Maybe someone reverse engineered the protocol? Doesn't hurt to ask.
Thanks
Brian

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

I solved my problem. Mac/LInux foomatic open printing has a driver for the Xerox-Phaser-6125N. This is sufficiently close to the 1320C to satisfy my printing needs on debian.
Cheers
