1320c Network: Not Available
I have had a 1320c for over 10 years and it still works great. I have been using it via USB and want to set up on the network. It has the RJ-45 jack so I presume it's the Type B. I plugged it into the router but the printers settings printout states in the Network section "Not Available". I have tried known good cables, rebooted the router and Printer, then tried factory resetting the Printer.
The manual refers to a way to access it through the tools originally provided with the printer, which I don't have anymore. The Dell support page has 3 downloads; "Software" - which do not include the utility needed, "Drivers" - which exits because it says mine are current, "Systems Management" - which requires a complicated install of system level tools (not for the everyday user and not mentioned in the manual).
Here is an excerpt from the manual: (I had to fix the original spelling errors - the OCD in me) :-)
Advanced Functions
NOTE: The following sections are considered advanced functions and should only be carried out by a system administrator. These sections assume you have already installed the Dell Color Laser Software on your PC.
1. Click Start-> All Programs-> Dell Printers-> Additional Color Laser Software-> Status Monitor Console. The Printer Selection dialog box opens.
2. Click Dell Color Laser 1320c listed in Printer Name. The Dell Color Laser 1320c Launcher window opens.
...
So is it possible to get the original "Dell Color Laser Software"?
Thank you in advance, (hoping its not just a faulty network adapter)

Hey
I've got 2 cd's that came with my 1320c and the user's manual that has a couple pages on network setup.
I can burn you copies.
