Vostro 5515, Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio greyed out

The option will not come up with my 3.5 mm jack on my input options as you can see below:

So I downloaded Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio as I was told to, to resolve, when using this for the first time it worked perfectly. But now for the second time after a wipe of my machine, the audio is greyed out. I don't know why this would occur as it worked fine with me beforehand?

Normally you can turn the top left button on but it is greyed out, is it something to do with the below, with which device you pick because I have tried all options and I cant seem to get the option ungreyed out. I think the problem lies with the "current default playback device is not supported". This is so weird as I have had it working previously with the same headset and machine,
