Unable to get a 130w 4.5mm adapter for Precision 5530
My original adapter is no longer recognized by the laptop (adapter light is on but it does not charge).
I couldnt locate a similar replacement on dell so resorted to getting a 130W adapter from Amazon. It worked fine for a few months but now it comes up as UNKNOWN in the Bios.
The laptop does not charge but it does not drain too. The charge is stuck at the last battery level.
If i need to charge I have now resorted to using a 65W usb-c charger which does charge the battery albeit at a slower speed.
I was considering getting an original dell 130w (7.4mm or usb-c) charger (since Dell no longer sells the 4.5mm charger online) and a converter cable from Amazon. Would that help?
Or to get a 90W 4.5mm original dell adapter?
Confised and need a permanent fix.
Any suggestions?

The problem is almost certainly with the DC jack.
