‘Unable to connect to this network’ error on my precision 5540 with intel AX200 WiFi card and windows 11 pro
I have recently purchased a 5540 and have had issues connecting to some WiFi networks. I had managed to connect to my home WiFi and airport WiFi fine however now that I am travelling I am getting the error ‘unable to connect to this network’. This has happened a few times on networks which work fine on other devices. So far I have tried the following:
installed all updates and updated drivers
Rolled back the network card driver to previous versions
disabled/uninstalled the driver and reinstalled
changed a few other network/bandwidth settings
the laptop works fine now when I hotspot it from my phone so I’m assuming the issue on exists for a specific type of WiFi connection?
I have looked at every possible forum and video online and still cannot seem to solve the issue, please help ! :)
many thanks in advance !
