TPM nowhere to be found on my 7730
TPM is nowhere to be found, so I cannot enable it. BIOS is up to date, but no mention of TPM in the Security menu. I've done nearly everything I have found online including updates, battery out, , etc., but nothing does it. Any pointers on how to get this to show up (which seems to be a common thing)?

Hi
Try...........
Dell Precision 7730 TPM Security Level
The Dell Precision 7730 laptop features TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module version 2.0), which is integrated directly on the system board for hardware-based security like encryption key storage and features such as BitLocker. This version offers higher security standards and reliability compared to TPM 1.2, supporting Windows 11 requirements.
How to Check TPM Status
Restart your Dell Precision 7730 and press F2 repeatedly at the Dell logo to enter BIOS setup. Navigate to the Security section, where you'll find TPM 2.0 Security options like "TPM On" (default), Clear, or PPI Bypass settings—this confirms TPM 2.0 presence and lets you enable/disable it.
Verify in Windows
In Windows, right-click the Start button, select Device Manager, and expand Security Devices; "Trusted Platform Module 2.0" should appear if enabled. Alternatively, use Windows Security > Device Security > Security processor details to check the specification version (must be 2.0). For command-line verification, run
tpm.mscvia Windows + R to open the TPM management console.smartworkc06cc6

@anne_droid Thanks so much for the reply. Yes, I've gone through those steps many times already... and nothing. TPM simply doesn't appear in the BIOS (which causes it to appear in Device Manager), and according to what's in my Dell account for this model my BIOS is the most current version.
One thing I found interesting is that most everything I find indicates the 7730 had at least 1.2, but this page ( https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000132583/dell-systems-that-can-upgrade-from-tpm-version-1-2-to-2-0 ) in its list of computers that shipped with TPM says (for the entire list)... "could ship" instead of "did ship".
Additionally (and noted on that same page as well), I 've seen where without it some systems couldn't upgrade to 11, but I upgraded to 11 long time ago, so there seems to be some conflicting information.
