Suddenly lost Google products

A precision laptop I use suddenly just got disconnected from Google it seems.  I can no longer launch Chrome, and the device was using GCPW for login now reverted back to the previous set up.  Just looking for any idea onto why this happened and / or what I can do about it besides uninstall and reinstall.  Another issue I noticed just before this happened the user account was trying to access an admin tool, it asked for the admin username/password.  These values were properly entered, but then the laptop didn't run the tool and just returned an error saying "The extended abilities are inconsistent"
