So I got a few questions about my dell precision 3510 lapotp
Hello, I have a Dell Precision 3510, and I use cloud gaming services to have a better gaming experience, especially since my main GPU broke. And I was planning in the future to get an external monitor and a few peripherals, and I wanted to ask if the laptop could handle them. Here are the peripherals I would want to get in the future: Mouse Gaming Wireless LOGITECH Pro 2 LightSpeed; headset Gaming Wireless LOGITECH G321 LightSpeed; mechanical Gaming keyboard Aula F75 pro, and the monitor: Gaming LED VA Samsung Odyssey G3 24", Full HD (1920x1080), 180Hz, 1ms, AMD FreeSync™, HDR 10, HDMI, Display Port, Pivot, VESA. Now, about the monitor, I know the laptop has 1.HDMI supports only 120Hz or 144Hz, but Google AI told me that the Dell Precision 3510 HDMI 1.4 is locked to 60Hz 1080p instead of 120Hz 1080p.

The bottleneck is the 10-year old workstation -- you can add whatever input/output devices you want, but the system is going to struggle with a high resolution external monitor.
Before you start buying, note that you're likely better off starting with a desktop system at least five years newer than this 2015 notebook. Build on that and you'll be happier with the results.

@ejn63 Well, I plan on building my own pc with peripherals, monitor, and everything. I already started to save some money. Still, I thought it would be a good idea to buy the peripherals and the monitor as soon as I have the money, because right now I use GeForce Now, the ultimate tier, which offers the best performance. Since I have good internet too, it works great, and the peripherals with the monitor could make the experience better till I save enough for the pc, and then I could use those new peripherals and monitor with the new pc.

Firstly ignore any AI input on these subjects. It's rarely right on anything. It will easily hallucinate by confusing various facts. For example 60Hz is the max refresh of the laptop panel, so AI may well have blended bits of information.
Secondly, maybe look at getting an E-Port dock. I seem to recall the 3510 having an e-port on the underside. The dock has a couple of advantages:
It will widen the ports available: you'll get DP, DVI, VGA on the dock. There's also 3 USB 2 and 2 USB 3 ports. These all function in addition to the ports on the laptop itself. You can also get a monitor shelf, so it would turn the laptop into a fairly good desktop. It also facilitates running multiple monitors quite easily too, which I believe is a favourite feature for gamers.
These docks are quite cheap these days, and ebay has buckets of them for sale.
The 3510 owners manual can be useful too:
https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-uk/precision-m3510-workstation/dellprn3510/system-specifications?guid=guid-4a9b7199-62d0-4805-88f4-2f04e751a6f8&lang=en-us
I have a 7720, which currently has a Quadro P3000 (6GB), through the dock it will drive my Dell P2224H monitor higher than 60Hz on DP. At worst you'll end up with the monitor running at 60Hz until your desired desktop is built.
But as ejn63 said, you are playing a 10-year old and 2025 tech, so you may well be playing at the lowest common denominator.
