Slow charging on AC adaptor

Suddenly, my laptop (Dell Precision 5570) does not detect the original 130W USB C charger as a such. Instead, it issues a warning while booting stating that I have plugged in a low power adapter.

Inspecting the BIOS, I notice that it detects the charger as a 5W charger.

I plugged in another USB C charger (not dell) that is supposed to be 65W and it detects it as 15W.

I found the following post, but it seems the solution is just a BIOS update, but I thing I am running the latest version of the BIOS (1.20).

You may want to try another Dell OEM adapter as a last check, but it sounds likely the charge circuit on the system board, or the USB-C port itself is the issue -- in other words, it's replacement mainboard time.

BIOS update fixed the issue for me.
