Reporting counterfeit Dell products
I recently ordered two no-name replacement products for various Dell computers from Amazon from different third party sellers.
Both the battery and the charger were labeled as Dell although there were stickers placed over the Dell logos - a clear attempt to deceive. In addition, there are several differences between these and the originals.
Unsurprisingly, Amazon was uninterested even after one of the vendors told me that the charger was not dell (in Chinese/English translation meaning "I know it is counterfeit")
I'm clearly concerned that the battery, being counterfeit, is a safety hazard and that other buyers may think 'hey, I got a Dell battery for the price of a no-name. What a deal!' and be surprised when the battery implodes - then complaining that their Dell battery blew up.
Any thoughts on how to contact the Dell fraud department?
As I see it, there are a few possibilities:
The items are counterfeit
The items are stolen
The items are genuine Dell products that failed quality control, were disposed of and then resold.
Either way, I can't imagine why a company would want to advertise a no-name and then send a dell marked item.
Any thoughts?

Unless the items were advertised as OEM, you got what you paid for -- it's not uncommon for sellers of "no name" products to supply rebuilt batteres.
If you want(ed) OEM, there are plenty of options - parts-people.com being the prime non- Dell one if you're in the US.

@ejn63 Perhaps I didn't make it clear enough. The items were advertised as no-name, but what arrived were Dell branded items - with the normal Dell logo embossed on the charger and multiple Dell logos on the battery.
I was buying, and paying for, no-name, but was sent something that looked like Dell - but wasn't.
I'm attaching some pictures that might clarify things. In the package, the Dell markings were covered up. I've placed the charger next to a known good dell charger (with cord wrapped around it). You'll note how the stickers are strategically placed on the overwrap to hide the dell markings.

@ejn63 agreed. While there are many rebuilt batteries out there, they cannot legally leave them marked as Dell.
I'll attach pictures of the chargers with the two different Dell labels. Again, the charger with the cable wrapped around it is OEM, while the one in plastic wrap is not. Again, note the strategically placed stickers to cover up the Dell logos and markings.

for some reason it didn't allow me to add this picture to the prior post - OEM on the right, counterfeit on the left. You can clearly see the differences in the labels and how they fit. What you can't see on the pictures is the overall fit and feel of the attached cord.
