Problem in windows installation Dell precision 7520

Hi guys

I have a problem in windows installation.

I have laptop Dell precision 7520 and I inserted the flash drive to install windows and formatted the (C partition) but this message appeared ( Windows Cannot be Installed to This Disk The Selected Disk is of the GPT Partition Style ) .

That needs me to change in the bios from legacy to uefi , when I tried to change another message appeared telling me I should disable

legacy option roms

My question is :

If I did that (disabling legacy option roms and converting from legacy to UEFI) will cause any problems or data loss ?

If the disc is already in GPT format, you should not need to convert it -- only if it's in MBR mode would you need to do that to install in GPT mode.  If the system is running in legacy mode already, the drive won't be in GPT format and won't support UEFI boot.

You'll need to fill in more detail about the existing OS and how it's installed, and on what OS you're trying to install.
