Precsion laptop chassis

I have just come to the Dell website to look at updating my Precision M4800, which is still performing well, but just a bit bulky compared to today's offerings. I was horrified at the current chassis of the Precision range of laptops which now seem to resemble the ugly XPS range.

Why can Dell not just design a simple, sexy black laptop like the old M4800 or Mac Book range of computers? I think I will end up getting an MSI laptop instead.
