Precision Laptops, Switches, P2423DE turning on off at random

Hi there

I have a problem with my monitors turning off and on at random.

Here is my setup in list form:

  • 3 pcs. Dell p2423de
    • Monitor 3 DP linked to monitor 2
    • Monitor 2 DP linked to monitor 1
    • Monitor 1 connected with DP to DP switch (Ugreen KVM Switch 8K 60Hz)
  • PC (Dell Precision 5820 with Nvidia RTX 3080) connected with DP to KVM Switch
  • Laptop (Dell Precision 7680 with Nvidia RTX 3500) connected to Dell dock wd19dcs and then connected with  DP to switch.

When using the PC i have no problem with the monitors, they stay on and keeps working.

When I switch to the Laptop then they start turning off and on, and I can't figure out why.

Here is what I've tried:

  • New cables for both DP and USB-C
  • Disabled Auto-Select on the Monitor
  • Installed Dell Display Manager
  • Checked that firmware is up to date

Is there something that you can see I'm missing.
