Precision 7780 TPM PCR7 woes
Hi, there.
I just got a brand new precision 7780, and I upgraded the OS from Windows 11 Home, which came with the laptop, to Windows 11 Pro for Workstation.
I enabled the TPM and Secure Boot in UEFI BIOS Setup, and in Windows OS I enabled bitlocker for all installed NVMe disks. But in msinfo32.exe, it showed me that "PCR7 is not bindable" and "Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: PCR7 binding is not supported, Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected.".
Please give some advice, thanks.
My laptop configuration:
CPU: i7-13850HX
RAM: 2x 32GB ECC DDR5 SODIMM 5200MT/s
GPU: RTX 4090 Laptop
OS: Windows 11 Pro for Workstation, 23H2, Build 22631.3007

@heikkuri Thanks, but I have always kept VT-d enabled in BIOS,so I don't think it's because of this that "PCR7 binding is impossible" appears on my platform.
I tried to revert the BIOS Settings to the factory Settings (not the default settings), but the problem persisted.
