Precision 7760 SSD upgrade

I have a Precision 7760 with the M.2 2280 Gen 3 PCIe x4 NVMe SSD in 256 GB. After upgrading to Windows 11 there isn't much room left once I install my CAD programs.

Can I replace it with either a:

Samsung 990 PRO SSD 2TB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4, M.2 2280 

or

Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD 2TB, PCIe Gen 4x4, Gen 5x2 M.2 2280
