Precision 7750 - USB 3.0 cable causes crashes, and USB 2.0 cable works fine.

Howdy,

In trying to use Sony SBAC-US30 Card reader while under a USB 3.0 cable, the computer under Windows 10 while trying to write to the card crashes and restarts itself. Can't create a new folder, text file, transfer a file over without it crashing and giving off false errors? I have an older version of the laptop, a Precision 7710 and seems to work perfectly fine with a USB 3.0 cable.

Has this happened with anyone else before on why it wouldn't take a 3.0 cable?

I didn't see the message for awhile, but thanks anyways.

It looks like the issue was with the device in question being used. The Sony device is unable to handle low power states for USB ports. The solution is to adjust the LPM to off, if we want to use any 3.x cables.
