Precision 7720 Wifi Upgrade Options
I would like to upgrade my Precision 7720 WiFi card (Windows 10).
I have a Qualcomm QCA61x4A (802.11ac) card now and would like to upgrade to BT 5.0 and Wifi 6.
Has anyone had success with this upgrade? If so, what card and driver are you using?
TIA, much appreciated.

The Intel AX210 card will work fine -- just remove the existing drivers before you shut down to replace the card.
Then install the new drivers after booting the system.

Should work. Make sure to get the right drivers.

I bought an Intel AX210NGW M.2 card to replace my QCA9377 in my Inspiron 3793 (10th gen i7) and, if it fits in the M.2 slot, it'll work without issue. Excluding older laptops than ours, the bus in the WLAN slot is fast enough to upgrade and you just download the driver from Intel or the OEM's site. Just connect the two antennas to the right connector, install the driver when you boot and you'll be good. Wifi M.2 cards are keyed to avoid issues, but your WLAN slot should allow the newer cards with the A&E (?) key as it only has the one key to the left.
Just make sure to google your specific board' slot to make sure it'll fit and you'll be good to go. All that said, it's worth knowing Wifi 6 (AX) may not be faster as the signal can be much weaker and a newer/higher-end AC card with newer Bluetooth can still do close to a Gigabit. My QCA9377 is a trash Wifi 5 card and I'm limited to about 100mbit on a Gigabit network.
