Precision 7670 gets Video_TDR_Failure BSOD on Battery Power only
Most of the time I use my laptop on my docking station so only started having this issue recently. I bought the laptop used and had no issues with it. The only thing that changed is that I added a second SSD for games.
The laptop works perfectly when plugged into the AC adapter (using as I type this) and the docking station. When on battery power I almost always get the Video_TDR_Failure (nvlddmkm.sys) BSOD minutes after booting. I already have reinstalled/updated my Nvidia drivers as well as the bios but it is still happening. Ideally, I would like to not have to remove the SSD because i love the extra storage. Is there anything else I should try?
EDIT: Here's a link to the most recent dump file 041524-29468-01.dmp

We are having the same problem with a Precision mobile workstation 5560.
Any news regarding this issue?

Same here also on a Dell Precision 5570 (A1000 GPU). Full stock, only IT department can install or change settings. Running latest Nvidia drivers gave me this one since Win11 update. Downgraded the Nvidia drivers to the last fully tested and confirmed one by a heavy GPU app I use (Solidworks CAD) but the issue still persists from time to time.

Same problem here with a DELL Precision 3581 with i7-13700 and NVIDIA RTX A1000 6GB.
Generally plugged with the docking station, when out of the office and unplugged I often encounter this BSOD Video_TDR_Failure.

Same issue for precision 5570 (windows 10), possible windows update changed security settings for NVidia drivers, there are some possible fixes, workarounds:
Issue Description: I am encountering frequent Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors with the stop code
VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE, specifically pointing tonvlddmkm.sysanddxgkrnl.sys. These crashes occur only when the laptop is operating on battery power, rendering the system nearly unusable in such conditions.Troubleshooting Steps Attempted:
Reinstalled the latest official NVIDIA drivers. No fix
Rolled back to driver version 555.99. NO fix
Adjusted power settings to "Power Saver" mode. No fix
Utilized ThrottleStop to reduce CPU enabling clock modulation. Possible fix
Connected an external power bank via USB-C to supplement power. Possible fix
Manually copied
nvlddmkm.systo the drivers folder and attempted to modify USER permissions at Full Control (aware of associated security risks). Possible fixModified the TDR (Timeout Detection and Recovery) delay in the registry to 60 seconds, as recommended in Adobe's documentation for Substance 3D Painter.
