Precision 7670 and 2x U2723QE Screen Flickering
Dell U2723QE
Hi,
I'm using a Dell Precision 7670 and recently I've bought 2x U2723QE monitors however I'm highly disappointed because after connecting everything up the displays are randomly flickering at random time intervals which can be anything between few seconds and few minutes. They go blank for a moment and then come back with the image.
My connection Setup:
Dell Precision 7670 -> USB-C Cable -> USB-C Dock Connector on 1st U2723QE -> DP-to-DP Cable -> Second U2723QE Monitor
I have MST enabled in the first monitor and USB-C is in High Resolution mode as in High Speed data mode the second monitor was only limited to 30Hz. The two monitors see each other as when I adjust the brightness in one Monitor's OSD, the second one adjusts automatically as well.
The laptop is running the latest BIOS (1.16.0), I have latest drivers for NVIDIA RTX A1000 (31.0.15.5123), both monitors are running latest firmware (M2T104) and all cables used in the connections are original cables supplied with the monitors.
Thanks
Marcin

To get help from Dell chat support, they need to first verify the warranty status. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. Provide to them all three private Service Tags =
Precision 7670
first U2723QE
second U2723QE
While using the MST daisy chain configuration, is the AC power adapter connected to the Precision 7670 leftside power in port? If not, test this.
Test this non-MST daisy chain configuration to see if flickering happens =
* AC power connected to Precision 7670 leftside power in port
* Precision 7670 first rightside TB4/USB-C/DP Alt port --> U2723QE 1M USB-C to USB-C cable --> first U2723QE #5 USB-C in port
* Precision 7670 second rightside TB4/USB-C/DP Alt port --> U2723QE 1M USB-C to USB-C cable --> second U2723QE #5 USB-C in port
