Precision 7650 - question on 3rd slot for M.2 install requirements
Hi,
I have 2 (M.2 2280 512 GB, Gen 3 PCIe x4 NVMe) installed.
my question is there a limit on how much space another M.2 2280 Gen 3 PCIe x4 NVMe can have? i saw on the PDF that it can only hold up to 1TB on Gen 3 x 4 PCIe 2280 models. I was thinking of purchasing a 2TB version. Would it be compatible? or would i have to use a Gen 4 version to have 2 TB?????
Thanks again for any help or suggestions, as I was just pondering why the PDF shows it only goes up to 1TB for (M.2 2280 Gen 3 PCIe x4 NVMe) models.

I have a similar question, yet unresolved, for my 7760 which has 3 secondary and one primary drive slot, including a bottom-of-case access door for the primary drive. Not sure of the configurations possibilities, the documentation is nebulous and I’m pending purchase of another 2tb SSB drive
