Precision 7530, Tpm 2.0 with ptt - destroyed by dTpm Update for Precision 7530

The Dell Tool

DELLTPM_NPCT750_7.2.2.0_64_v4.exe

shows that there is a dTpm even on a Precision that has only ptt, it shows even that it has an old Firmware relause 7.2.0.x and needs the update.

The Update destroys the 7530, normal boot is not possible anymore, the reason is, it disables the ptt Tpm permanently write protekted in the Intel ME Region.

After the destruction of the Notebook, the tool detects that it has only ptt.

The Presision can only boot after cmos reset, some Minutes powered off and with F12 or it stops after an Alert "no Tpm", or with black screen only.

Please Dell, remove such an update without a warning and wrong detection from the Presision 7530 download page. Programm a tool or a recoveryimage that can set Intel ME back to ptt Tpm. Write or Change the region is only possible for the manufacturer.

These tools are not new, Dell 7.2.2.0 v1 v2 v3 have destroyed many notebooks when you read several discussions.
