Precision 7530 (A7) ME FW Downgrade - Request MeSpiLock Failed

I just purchased this device from someone outside my country and it's working fine but this message appears after the logo and I updated everything to the latest version and it's still there. Any help?

The error "A7 Me FW Downgrade - Request MeSpiLock Failed" indicates a problem with the Intel Management Engine (ME) firmware, potentially related to a failed downgrade attempt or a corrupted update. Here's a breakdown of potential causes and solutions:
Possible Causes:
Failed Firmware Update/Downgrade:
The error suggests a problem with the ME firmware update or downgrade process.
Corrupted BIOS:
The error could indicate that the BIOS itself might have been corrupted during the firmware update attempt.
Hardware Issues:
In rare cases, the error might point to a hardware issue, such as a failing motherboard or RAM.

Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Check for BIOS Updates:
Go to the Dell support website and download the latest BIOS update for your specific computer model.
Important: Before updating the BIOS, ensure your laptop has a charged battery (at least 10%) and is connected to AC power.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully for updating the BIOS.
2. Reset BIOS to Defaults:
Enter the BIOS settings by selecting F2 during startup).
Find the option to "Load Defaults" or "Restore BIOS Defaults" and apply them.
3. Check for Intel Management Engine Updates:
Download and install the latest Intel Management Engine firmware for your computer model from the Intel website.
4. Run RAM Diagnostic:
If the issue persists, run a RAM diagnostic test (Windows Memory Diagnostic) to check for any RAM issues.

I had the same problem on my ~7-8y old Lenovo T480s, but after some research I'd noticed that this is not a vendor but Intel issue. I'd tried to update and downgrade BIOS, restore it to the factory settings - nothing helps.

But I solve it after manual instalation of "Intel Management Engine 11.8 Firmware". I'd pick one from Lenovo webside, but I think that generic one from Intel webside will work too. I don't know if the package from Dell webside has the firmware inside. My BIOS has a place where it reads version of Intel ME software and it was empty, and after I installed package above, BIOS start to read the number, and a error was gone.

One thing to rememeber - I don't know how is on Precision 7530, but I needed to prepare BIOS, for this operation. There is an security option that's prevents installing firmware to the BIOS (and it's different from the one that prevents to upgrade whole BIOS) and it was enebled by default.

Hope it helps.
