Precision 5750 sound started to sound really bad
Hey guys,
been working as video editor for a while and was heavily using my Precision 5750 without a problem. Lately though, the sound when I wear headphones started to sound very strange - metalic, bass thin, almost metalic, very tiny. When I unplug the headphones and use them on another laptop or PC they sound great - bass rich, warm, full, you hear everything correctly.
Any idea what this could be? Everything (windows/dell command) is updated.

Sometimes, incorrect type of input device would cause a change in performance quality. You can try with unplug and re-plug the headphones to trigger the input device selection dialog box. Select headphones, not headset. Select over-ear, not earbuds. That should bring back the rich bass and sound quality.
