Precision 5690 and 2 U2724DE Monitors TBT daisy chained: 2nd monitor goes stand-by after boot

Hi team,

I recently bought two U2724DE monitors which are daisy chained via the original TBT 4 cables that come with them. The primary monitor's upstream 90W port is connected to a  Dell Precision 5690 TBT 4 port. It's all connected via the original TBT 4 cables.

There's just one problem: every time the laptop boots up, the 2nd monitor always misses the signal in its TBT 4 upstream 90W port connected to the 1st monitor's downstream port during the laptop boot process, and the 2nd monitor always goes to stand-by mode. I log into Windows 11 and its Display Settings is always set to "Show only on 1" instead of "Extend these displays" because the 2nd monitor stays in stand-by forever...

That's being a nuisance because I have to set "Extend these displays" after I log into Windows to activate the 2nd monitor. The interesting thing is: this problem never happens when I put the laptop to sleep or in hibernate. The 2 monitors are detected and the "Extend these displays" is correctly set when the laptop returns from sleep/hibernate.

The 2 U2724DE have service tag and I've installed firmware M3T105 on both. Windows 11 is fully updated with the latest official drivers / software updates. <To protect you, your private information was removed from public view. All private data was saved to your private Case. DELL-Admin>

I've tried to workaround this problem enabling/disabling MST, multi-monitor sync, changing response time from fast to normal and so on in the 2 monitors. No success.

I'd really appreciate any help to fix this issue...

Thank you very much.
