Precision 5570 with WD15 dock limits resolution on monitor

Question

I have a Precision 5570 with WD15 dock connected to 2 monitors.

One monitor is connected directly through HDMI, runs at QHD resolution fine.

The second monitor is connected through HDPI via mini display port adapter into the dock, is capable of FHD but only runs 720p.

I updated drivers, and mini display port adapter supports FHD, but still stuck on 720p.

What can I check or do to fix this?

Connecting the WD15 to the laptop USB-C thunderbolt port, then test again.

@Chino de Oro​ this is the only way I connect WD15 to the laptop.
