Precision 5570 Bios Update 1.28.0 Causes Blue Screen and Intel Iris Xe Incompatibility
After updating my Precision 5570 to Bios 1.28.0, I received a blue screen error. After hours of workarounds I finally enabled safe mode and after experimenting, I disabled the Intel Iris Xe display driver in Device Manager. Upon restart, the system works and is stable. Thankfully I have the Nvidia A2000 GPU and driver. I also re-flashed the bios with the same result. I update the Nvidia and Intel drivers to the most recently available, and same result. Blue screen. The only way I can operate now is with the Intel GPU driver disabled. Anytime I enable it, within 3 minutes or so, blue screen. As a temporary fix, I have assigned as many functions as I can to the Nvidia GPU, but some things, like Dell PremierColor and Snipping tool don't work. I wish Dell allowed Bios downgrades, but when I try to revert to 1.27.1, it says this downgrade is prohibited. So I am stuck with this mess until Dell fixes its BIOS. Anyone have any ideas?

I am encountering random crashes and boot-up issues on my Dell Precision 3571 since the bios v1.28 update on February 14, 2025. I am preparing to roll back the bios to v1.27. Hopefully, I will be able to revert if the issues persist. I am losing productivity and may need to switch over to my MacBook from work.
Here is the link to the older bios versions:

Update: After altering some of the bios settings around logging and in particular not performing a fast boot sequence and instead performing a thorough boot sequence the crashing has stopped. Seems odd updating the bios would stabilize my laptop after the v1.28 bios update, but that appears to be the case.

@Whatha024768c2 I was unable to roll it back because version 1.28 is blocked from roll-backs on my laptop.
