Precision 5560, not switching off after shut down, lid is closed
Hi,
I was speaking to someone about this, but the conversation was disconnected. Can you please help me with this? I shut down my Precision 5560, it seems like it is shut down and I close the lid but it automatically switches on again and end up running out of battery during the night.

Update = Resolved After completing troubleshooting, a DELL-Cares agent setup a part exchange.

a quick reply, you migt take a look at power settings in control panel, if you are familiar with that. you can check if computer is set to sleep, or else shut down, after "x" minutes. i hope this is a starting point for you

Hello there and thank you for your answer!
I had already tried this and unfortunately it does not solve my issue. It seems like my laptop is set to never turn off properly somehow.

I have the same problem. The only solution for me was to hibernate. It never wakes up automatically from hibernate.
