Precision 5550 left side port issues

precision 5550 usb c charging but no data transfer, the power usb charger works but i can't connect my mouse dongle, tried also using my phone, my phone charges via the usbc-a connector, but i cant switch to file transfer, though the one port on the right works for both charging and transfer
