I would like to add a 2nd SDD top my Precision 3751 laptop and use the 2.5" slot. Is there any extra hardware required to install a SSD in this location?
Are you sure that your model number is not a 3571? As far as the 2.5" drive is concerned this statement is from the service manual of the 3571 and yes the HDD parts are also for an SSD:
: The hard-drive, the hard-drive bracket and the hard-drive interposer are all optional components.
You would have to obtain those items from Dell parts (1-800-372-3355) or possibly on eBay.
