Precision 3581 design flaw

I work as a programmer. I use the keys Home, End, F11, F12 extensively.

What an absurd decision to put F12 and End on the same key, forcing the user to press Fn?

When I use End, it is often in combination with Ctrl, and/or Shift. Now I have to press Fn as well? Same with F12, shift+F12...

And this is supposed to be a high-end workstation?

I will possibly solve this with kmonad, but I think Dell did a bad job at designing that keyboard, and it should be fixed in future models.

@gaewraf

I cannot help much but just would like to say. That seems to be the way Dell and other OEMs are going. They are cutting corners.

Last year I purchased a Latitude 3520 thinking I was going to get Latitude quality. I was wrong it's nothing but an Inspiron with the label Latitude.

I have an older Latitude 65570 that is much better. I just looked at my keyboard on my new latitude 3520 and it's the same as yours.

I also just looked at the older Latitude E66570 and it is a normal Keyboard.
