Precision 3570 changes brightness/contrast automatically
In Windows 11 I turned off automatic brightness:
Unfortunately in a well lit environment, it still changes brightness depending on what's on the display and how it moves. It's very annoying, because the display looks washed out 9/10 times and it's very noticeable when it changes.
The only way to get rid of this unwanted behavior is to either sit in a darker environment or to cover the sensor:
Does anyone know a fix for this?

Edit: it seems like even covering the sensor does nothing.

Worth it? What do you mean?
To sit in a dark corner is not worth it.

Are you on battery power when this happens by chance? Check to see if this setting is enabled in Battery Saver settings (Settings > System > Power & Battery > Battery > expand Battery Saver).
You may need to adjust when battery saver turns on as well. Can set it to Never, but obviously then it would drain faster.

Hi, the laptop is indeed then running on battery, but it's not in power saver mode when this happens.
