Precision 3541 > Linux > "Waiting for charge" but stuck at about 55% but increases if I change BIOS

Greetings

I am using Linux MInt latest version.

My laptop battery shows "Waiting for charge" but its stuck at 55% but capacity shows 100%

BIOS setting for battery management:

Custom charge: 50%

Maximum charge: 80%

I did this to save battery lifespan.

This seems to go away when I change the BIOS battery management to full 100% charge and auto charge standard.

Why does it only show 55% and won;t go up past that point?
