M6500 Typing Cursor Problem
M6500/Windows 7 64
When I type on my older M6500 laptop, the cursor jumps to some other location while I'm typing which corrupts my document and must be corrected, etc.
I have found numerous posts about this issue which give the solution relating to the Touchpad (either disabling or adjusting Touchpad settings).
Problem is... I have NO Touchpad controls on my system! And there are no Touchpad drivers listed for my laptop on the Dell website. The Touchpad tab does not exist in my Mouse settings in Control Panel. (Using a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse).
I am using all the latest drivers/BIOS, etc. I did find in the BIOS a setting which would seem to disable the Touchpad but when the computer restarted, the Touchpad still worked!
Not sure how to get a Touchpad driver for my M6500 or how to disable the Touchpad.
Thanks!

OK, I did find a different setting in the BIOS which does disable the Touchpad. Have to see if the typing cursor problem fixed by this. But I would like to have the proper Touchpad drivers in Windows 7 so I could either disable or adjust the Touchpad from there.
Thanks!
