Has anyone successfully used a 4 TB NVMe SSD with a 7530?
I recently got a 4 TB NVMe drive (WD SN850x) to use in my 7530 and the machine will not boot with it installed.
I see this questions asked elsewhere in this forum and the answer seems to be "should work" but I can't find confirmation of anyone actually making it work.
Has anyone done so? If so, what brand/model did you use?
Thanks,

I was able to get it to boot by changing it from RAID mode to AHCI mode (thanks to a YouTube video). My drive is a 4 TB WD SN850X. So, yes, I can confirm that that particular 4 TB drive works in the 7530.
Of course you don't get Gen4 speeds but a Gen4 drive is backwards compatible and everything is going to Gen4. So might as well get the Gen4 so you can use it in something else in the future.
