Got hosed on a Dell 7730. What should I do with it?

Totally my error for not even verifying, but bought machine used with supposed 1920 screen.  Get it home and only has the 1600 screen.  I do some CAD stuff but it can be important, even though I plug into a bigger monitor commonly.

I bought machine because it is mint, has factory 1T HD, 32G RAM, Nvidia P3200.  No crazy specs, but was cheap enough I guess.  I'm just debating if I should even keep it.  Or use for a crutch I guess, but that monitor deal is a bust for me unless I can transplant one easy enough?

Now, I don't actually do serious CAD with a laptop, mostly minor work or viewing.  Still have high power towers for that stuff.

Only you can answer, but there are some FHD screens for that model on EBay for around $150.  You may also need a cable assembly (it's common that ones from a lower resolution panel are different from those for a high resolution one) -- if you're not comfortable spending another $200 or so on the system, return it and look for one spec'd the way you want it.

No idea if online info is right, but sounds like the 1600 and 1920 used a 30 pin connector, but 4k was 40 pin.  So, theory is 1920 is drop in and go?  Also not sure how simple that really is.
