"Ghosting" and internal SSD to a new SSD
Hi!
I have a Precision 5530 Mobile Workstation and would like to ghost my internal 1TB SSD which was installed on delivery to a new 1TB SSD (Crucial P5 Plus 1TB PCIe M.2 2280SS Gaming SSD). I understand I need some kind of external USB connected "SSD dock" or equivalent and software.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how I may proceed on this?
Many thanks in advance!

You can use Macrium Reflect Free available here, to clone the old SSD to the new one. And there are SSD enclosures available such as here to connect the drive externally. One point here though. The P5 is an NVMe 4.0 drive and the 5530 only has NVMe 3.0 capabilities so you will not see the full maximum speed of the P5. It will run at full NVMe 3.0 speed though.
