I had the same failed installation of Dell-Digital-Delivery-Application_KKMWJ_WIN64_5.5.0.0_A30.

I can forward the installation log text file if needed.

Yes I've had this problem. Is there a workaround?

Dell Support must verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Dell PC Service Tag with them.

What specific Dell Precision models?

Are you installing KKMWJ as Admin?

Do all get the same fail in the log?

Happens on my XPS as well, Windows 24H2 version:

This appears across Dell models, so suspect an Install issue.

I have solution.
1. Manual uninstall "Dell Digital Delivery Services"

2. Restart computer.

3. Do installation as ADMIN

@paweljurek1990

I figured the rights (I run as Admin) of Trusted Installer might have been needed.

Might even work if run as Administrator. That doesn't work either.

I am not even SURE I need it? It is for reinstalling purchased Dell S/W, "Dell Digital Delivery is an easy way to purchase and reinstall software directly from your PC with an Internet connection. It keeps track of your purchases ..."

I just pass on it I guess?

Extract the Dell.D3.Installer_5.5.0.0.msi from Dell-Digital-Delivery-Application_KKMWJ_WIN64_5.5.0.0_A30_01.EXE, i used 7zip, then press right click on the Dell.D3.Installer_5.5.0.0.msi and then uninstall. After install as admin the Dell-Digital-Delivery-Application_KKMWJ_WIN64_5.5.0.0_A30_01.EXE.

That worked for me

I purchased this PC about 3 years ago and none of Dell Automatic Repair apps have worked - EVER.
