External monitors on precision 7520

I have a dell precision 7520 Xeon E1545M with the Nvidia Quadro M2200 that I am trying to connect 2 32" 1080p monitors and 1 external tv to. I am currently using the original laptop docking station, with the two monitors plugged in via displayport to the docking station and the TV plugged in via HDMI to the laptop. 

However, it seems like a total of only 3 displays will work at any given time, if the laptop screen is open one of the two 32" monitors stops working. It will still show up in the displays tab of settings but is a greyed out box that I can't select or change any of the settings of. According to dell's specs for the device it should be able to support up to 5 external monitors. What can I do to fix this? Is it a driver issue?
