Do I have to remove the nVidia card to make my old M6600 display on external monitor via DVI-D using Intel 3000?
Hi
Probably due to running Windows 10, my old M6600 will not run at all with nVidia 4000 enabled (instant BSOD at startup), so I have it permanently disabled. I'd like to attach an external monitor with a replicator - will Intel 3000 run via DVI-D port on it?

BTW - has anyone successfully run Windows 10 on this laptop without the nVidia 4000M disabled? Any specific drivers?

Check your installation again as many users are using the M6600 + Quadro 4000M with Windows 10. You can find many examples of these system configurations on benchmark site here, here, and here.
