Dell Precision Mobile 5540 TPM Could not be initialized.

System starts with a TPM warning after a bios update to 1.25 and TPM update using the Dell TPM 2.0 Firmware Update Utility found here: Dell TPM 2.0 Firmware Update Utility | Driver Details | Dell Malaysia.

No TPM options are available in the BIOS Setup under security. How can I get my TPM working again?

Thanks.

Verify if Secure Boot is enable.  You may perform an RTC reset.  Although it won't affect TPM, it may reset Secure Boot status which could have switched off the TPM at one point.

With AC adapter plugged-in, press and hold power button until it blinks.  After power recycles, check and adjust BIOS settings.  Verify the TPM status again.
