Dell Precision M2800 not working with Wifi 6
Hello, I recently updated to a new mesh system in my home based on Asus ZenWifi XD6 routers. All my newer devices are working exceptionally with it, however I am unable to see it in my available networks in my Dell Laptop. I am 99% sure that the main problem is that it is an old model and it is not supporting Wifi 6 as I updated to the latest drivers and I cannot see 802.11ax in my Wireless adapter options on Windows 10. My question is whether there is a way to upgrade it by buying a newer network card or something similar?

You can upgrade the card, but you will face few choices due to the old half-mini PCIe card format this system uses. There are still some Wifi 6 half minicards, but not from Intel (Intel's, and most others are M.2, which won't work). One option below.
The other option would be a USB wifi adapter.

While it's desirable to have access to the fastest network bandwidth available, not many practical usages can be achieved with the M2800 due to its limited ability from legacy components.
With maximum of SATA III 6Gb/s for storage, not sufficient enough for large files transfer comparing to the faster NVMe performance capability. In turn, it limits the function for frequent download usage or large files transfer over network.
An AC 7260 could provide up to 866 Mbps connection speed, almost reaching the same speed as a gigabit internet commonly offered by service providers. Users won't see any performance differences between AC and AX cards when working with internet related tasks.
If your M2800 is really slow with wifi connection, you can upgrade it with either AX-3000 or AC-7260.
