Dell Precision 7780 How to activate the EGPU during Boot Process
Dear Support,
I need to set up the Dell 7780 in the Boot Process with the EGPU attached to start up.
I have an External Graphic Card from Blackmagic with AMD Vega 56 connected via Thunderbolt.
The F8 Button is not working except within the Windows 11 function.
Keep the LID Closed is not working to boot up with EGPU Support.
I could not find any hint in the BIOS to make sure the Boot process is supported in EGPU.
Please advise how I can get the EGPU switched on as of booting the Laptop.
Appreciate your support.

Dear Devjoe,
BIOS is the latest installed and the Thunderbolt Bootoption is active with an external Dell Monitor connected.
What else can be made?
Thanks

To get switched in BIOS mode the Screen from Laptop to an external Monitor via DP / HDMI, you need to switch off the Intel Virtualization in BIOS completely off.
But still the Problem is in place to get the Thunderbolt connected external eGPU activated.
